From the partnership between WKF, Fight Net and Iaksa, we are proud to present, for the first time in Italy, the greatest combat sports European Championship of all times!
It’s a pleasure and honor for us to to welcome all of our members, fighters, officials, European country presidents and supporters to our next European Championships in Trieste, Italy, October 25th to 29th, beautiful city with amazing history!
Thanks to the cooperation with mr Fritz Exemberg, president of World WKF, mr Paolo Gherardi, president of Iaksa World, mrs Manuela Caironi President of Fight Net and Mr Fabrizio Moresan, local promoter in Fight Net since many years, for the first time we will have an amazing International opportunity in our country! Already 20 countries already confirmed their participation and we foresee to have more and more of them in the next few weeks.
The event will be split in disciplines following Fight Net/Iaksa Rules and WKF Rules.
On October 26th and 27th the WKF annual World Seminary will take place in the main hotel in Slovenia. All referee who will take actively part in the competitions are kindly welcome to participate. Since there is more than one organization involved, it will be very good to get a rules and regulations refresh before the competitions start.

Pre-registration
All teams must pre-register ONLINE themselves through this form, sending it through e-mail to europeanchampionship2023@gmail.com.
Officials and all WKF/Fight Net/Iaksa licensed referees must pre-register as well! For any 25 competitors each country must bring at least one licensed referee. Send complete registration list before October 20th 2023.
first start: 50 €uro each additional start: 35 €uro
Semi contact/point fighting team male: 150 €uro
Semi contact teams female, kids & juniors: 100 €uro
European Congress
We will host the European congress on Friday, October 27th at 4pm which will take place in our main Hotel. http://casino-carnevale-wellness-spa.slovenia-hotel.com/en/ Please come proper dressed in dark Blazer and tie, per country just two people possible. Only full member countries have the right to vote and to be elected. All European country presidents are expected to the congress and invited afterwards for dinner.
Admission
Two participants in every weight category/discipline per country, everybody must show passport / ID and compulsory official WKF/Iaksa or Fight Net fighter license book.
Participants without medical examination or older than 12 month will have compulsory to undergo an examination and will be charged standard fee 40 €uro (except forms).
Competitors under the age of 18 Years must proof parental permission to participate!
Since this European Championship will take place in cooperation with other associations, this year each association can provide two participants per weight in any discipline! This is also taken into account in the draw, if possible no fighters from the same country will meet in the first round.

INFORMATIONS ABOUT ROUNDS:
CATEGORIES Baby Newcomer and “Speranze” + “Giovanissimi” (Sanda):
BABY 1,2,3 (4-6 YEARS OLD) – 2 rounds of 1 min. each
BABY NEWCOMER (7-9 YEARS OLD) – 2 rounds of 1,5 min. each
HOPES (10-12 YEARS OLD) – 2 rounds of 1,5 min. each
CADETS (13 – 15 YEARS OLD) – 2 rounds of 2 min. each
JUNIORES (16 – 17 YEARS OLD) – 2 rounds of 2 min. each
Finals will be 3 rounds for each category except Babies and Newcomer. Recover time will be 1 min for all classes.
ALL OTHER CATEGORIES
For all other categories: during tournament, 2 rounds of 2 minutes each, recover 1 minute. For the finals, 3 rounds of 2 minutes, recover 1 minute. In case of draw, it will be an extra-round for 1 minute during the tournament. For the final, the extra-round will be 2 minutes. If the athletes were drawn in any case, the jury will express a preference.
